Project Pricing
If you have a comprehensive website concept in
mind, WebZealot will be happy to sit down with you and
plan a comprehensive schedule with competitive pricing
for the entire project. This can be the best
option for websites with a large scope of work and goals
to be accomplished.
WebZealot can generate a proposal stating all goals and
responsibilities in the project, with an agreed upon
final price... And that will be the price you pay,
regardless of the time or effort on the part of
WebZealot. This helps to ensure you'll have no
heart ache or anxiety of unforeseen issues or problems
as the project unfolds.

By the Hour
For the company that is counting its pennies, or
wants to take a more incremental approach to creating a
website, WebZealot is happy to provide an hourly rate of
$65. This arrangement may work best if you already
have an existing website that just needs a little
tweaking, or if you want to make changes and
improvements to your site across time.
Typically, a new website with basic functionality and
around ten pages can be created with about 25 hours
($1625) of work. A site with increased
functionality (newsletter publishing ability, web
forums, database functionality, more sophisticated graphics and attention to
overall appearance) can be had for about twice that
amount.
Customers interested in customer tracking ability and
administrative back-end functionality may want to
consider project pricing depending on the level of
sophistication desired.

Graphics Creation
Any WebZealot project presumes a certain amount of
graphical usage and development. However, the
lion's share of time spent in development will go toward
layout and development.
Should you want additional graphical content above and
beyond the basic website work, this will be billed at
the same $65 rate as site development, but will be
treated as a separate line item when invoiced.
For very large and graphically intense projects, you may
want to call in the services of WebZealot's graphical
artist. Rates for this additional level of service
will be charged using a project pricing scheme, as
opposed to an hourly rate, and while you may expect to
pay a little more, it will absolutely be worth it!

Copy and Content Creation
Inevitably one of the largest chunks of labor in any
website project is copy and content... Simple words on
the page.
If your new website is going to be your baby, then you
may want to be the one to write the content of the site.
However, if you aren't confident in your writing
ability, or you're too busy, or you simply have a case
of writers block, WebZealot can help!
Basic copy writing services begin at the standard $50
rate. If your project requires extensive writing,
or you additionally require public relations or press
release service, WebZealot is happy to provide these
services via our contract service. Rates are
variable, depending on your needs, but we'll be happy to
sit down with you and come up with the plan of attack
that works best for you!

Free Services for
Non-Profits
We are conscious of our place in the community in
which we work and live. To that end, WebZealot can
offer steeply discounted or even free website services
to your civic group, non-profit organization, or church.
Our services are offered on a case-by-case basis to
groups who wish to get their message heard, but who
don't have the time, budget, or knowledge to create a
website.

Fine Print...
New clients will be charged a one-time advance
fee of $500, or a 50% payment on your new project.
Unless specifically stated, pricing does not include
expenses incurred by WebZealot on your behalf.
These expenses may include, but are not limited to:
- Domain name registrations and transfers
- Web hosting fees
- Purchase of SSL certificates
- Purchase of additional software and/or licenses
to complete web functionality
Below is a table with ballpark pricing for these
types of items. Some items may be more or
less, depending on whether multiple sites or
domains are involved, items are purchased for longer
periods, or more feature filled items are ordered.
